Well I am sad to say I don't have any pictures yet to post but I will be posting them soon. However, in the meantime here are some things we have been doing!
November: Karston and I went to go and get vaccinated for the swine flu and in doing so met and made some great new friends. Carisa, Ethan, and Micah Crook. They are so very much fun and very trustworthy. As we were waiting I was talking to her and found out that they moved her from Indiana (I could be wrong but I think that is right!) So anyway I told her to come and bring her family over for our "Friend Thanksgiving" that we do every year. I was very surprised when they came over. While they were here her mom called to make sure that they were not at some serial killers or something like that. Anyway we had a great time playing games, and eating lots of food!
Thanksgiving day we went to my wonderful mother-in-laws house to have a very yummy thanksgiving dinner with my brother-in-law Brent and his cute family. We then had great fun playing games with my side. If you know my family they get very very wild and very competitive when playing games. In fact it scarred all the little wee ones! oops!
I have been busy decorating my house which isn't all that much and as always working on school. I have now come to the conclusion I will never EVER finish. Just when I think I am really close they throw 300 reports to type your way. HOW RUDE!
Doug is as always AMAZING! He surprises me every day at how smart he is and all I can say is that I hope our kids inherit his smart brain cells! If you ask him he has been working at BPA as a poster child for safety. He gets his picture taken daily in his vast array of safety apparrel. You know the geek goggles, hard hat, and harnessess to name a few. He is learning all the ins and out of OSHA regulations and the GOVERNMENT HARD WORKING ETHICS... HEHEHEHEHEHE! He is quite busy this time of year helping everyone with their christmas lights and making sure that they work. He is feeding about 71 horses every morning in the freezing cold and then he goes and helps Dr. Hall feed his 6 horses. We are so very appreciative for Dr. Hall and all that he has done for our family.
Now for Karston! He as always is SOOOOOOO adorable. I don't even know what we did when he wasn't here. Lately he hasn't been feeling very well. He is getting a total of 3 teeth at once poor little guy. However, even though he is fussy for us everyone else that gets to watch him for a couple of hours so I can do school work says he is still an Angel baby! I just hope they are telling me the truth. :) He is trying really hard to crawl on all 4's but starts the getting the crawling motor rock and then falls flat on his belly and does the army crawl instead. We have been trying to get him to say daddy but he won't he just says momma and hiii and anna.. he has learned how to wave to himself and loves to play with watches, cords, and faces!!!
We are soooo very very thankful for him and for the happiness he brings to our home!
We went on a little family vacation to Salt Lake for the Mo-Tab Christmas choir concert which was incredible as always! Doug, Karston and I went swimming, visited Cabella's, took a little stroll around temple square and went on a carriage ride around downtown salt lake. We had a lot of fun mostly spending time with each other something we don't get to do often enough. So anyway pictures will be coming to tell you about all of these things we did! Sorry it is so long but we had a lot of ground to cover! Happy Holidays and like I said pictures are coming!
