Karston is not a big fan of water unlike his mom so instead of wasting our money and taking him to the pool I found this little snake sprinkler which after a while he LOVED. We just hooked it up to the hose connection and he had fun going and splashing whenever he pleased.

Jayden's first camping trip!
So instead of going to the parade and trying to keep a 2 year-old interested in it we went up and camped up by Kelly's. We love going there. There is lots to do and it is close to town so if Doug gets called to work he can go and come back or if we forget stuff that we can't live without we can come back into town. So we stayed there and played.

Dad liked it to. He also is about as fond of water as Karston is. Maybe Jayden will be my water baby.
Speaking of Jayden here is the King sound asleep in his bed! I just laugh looking at this picture. Every time I see it it looks like a baby doll is laying there instead of a live baby!
You can't have to many grandpa's right. Here is Karston playing with Grandpa Dann. They don't get to see their little grandbaby a lot so when they come they try to be able to spend some time with the boys. They played baseball an awful lot!
I was playing around with the camera and grabbed these shots of Jayder bug. Isn't he just so dang cute?

When we are camping Karston likes to do his own hair and decides what clothes he will or will not wear. This day he wanted crazy hair and no pants! Still so handsome though!
It is against all camping rules to go camping and not roast marshmallows and make smores. So Karston was making his and touched the mallow and got all STICKY. But they were sure yummy!

This next picture CRACKS me up. This apparently is what happens when Grammie changes diapers when she is sick. We have never laughed so hard. We were mostly laughing at Karston and what he did once it fell off. The little guy looked down and said "Oh no... I free" I think we sat there and laughed about it for a good 20 minutes before we decided we better put something on before we have a bigger mess to clean up!
I have never been to a driving range and so Doug and I decided to go hit some balls. It really was LOTS of fun. I was amazed at how fast you go through 200 balls. Doug is a pro at skipping them across the water and getting them out at least 250 feet. It was a simple little activity but lots and lots of fun!
We have to always get a family picture. I thought this one turned out pretty cute! If you click on it you can get a better view of Karston's and Jaydens face. I love my little family soooo very much!
This is Karston's chair. He loves to hold Jayden while sitting in it. By the expression on Jayden's face, and the position of his arms he looks like he is preparing for something not so good to happen.
Grammie Janine reading Karston a story to keep him out of the sun for a little while. It was so hot up there.
Craig loved holding Jayden. Craig is Dann and Janine's son. He is such a nice guy and is so cute and fun to watch with the boys. Had to steal Jayden while his mom wasn't around.
Dann feeding Karston some strawberries. It was funny to watch. He had a huge serving spoon and would do the mommy mouth!
We had some patriotic music so we played that and Karston found his own piano. He would climb up there and play away. He would do runs to the very end of the arm rest and then up in the air. Of course it is no fun doing this by yourself so grammie had to get involved. It was soo cute! They gave us a concert about every night!
Just some cute pics of the boys!

This lady is Aunt Helen. She has to be one of the sweetest, most adorable, most loving lady I have ever met. She has the most tender little heart. I should be worried though because her and Doug like to flirt a little bit! Just kidding. Doug loves this lady just as much as I do. He went and picked her up and brought her up so she could see Dann and Janine and spend a little time up there. The night she came up Doug got called to go to work. She was pretty sad about it. She said she was going to start a protest, but she forgot her poster boards and sticks. She was also sad because she choose to come up the day that Doug was cooking. She was planning on eating with Doug and then couldn't. We still had his meal, but no Doug. I love this picture she looks so angelic!

Happy Birthday Grampie Mullen!
We are so very blessed to have him as a part of our lives. He recently finished a car that belonged to his grandpa. When he got it it was a mouse house literally. He is so talented and took it all apart and turned it into a BEAUTIFUL refinished car. Shelley newspaper did an article on him and the car so for his birthday we decided to take some pictures of the car print them in black and white and frame the article so it will stay fresh. That way when he takes his car to some shows he can display the picture as well. The only bad thing is we don't have a picture of what the car looked like before. It truly is amazing he did EVERYTHING down to the sewing, doing the wood grain on the dash, painting it etc. We are proud of him and we hope he had a great birthday! We love you GRAMPIE MULLEN!!!
Uncle Kevin!
He came into town for a little bit so we met and grabed a picture for Jayden's baby book, and I love it!!!
What happens when you can't get down!
Karston is our little climber. Apparently he was very tired and ready to take his nap, because he usually climbs up and shuts his blinds then I lift him down and put him to bed. Well this day I had a couple visitors about his nap time. He was playing in his room with the doors shut, and when my visitors left this is what I found. He can climb up, but not down so he curled up and feel asleep on the changing table. Sooo cute! Love you Karston NIGHT NIGHT!!!

My Little Helper
Karston LOVES helping me with Jayden. He is such a great big brother. If Jayden's binki EVER falls out Karston is quick on his feet to put it right back in sleeping or not!!! Karston knows how much Jayden loves his Binky and how frustrated he gets when it falls out. He loves to hold him. I think his favorite is when Jayden gets the hic-ups. Karston gets to feed him a little water afterwards and then he thinks he has to burp him after a couple sips of water. Such a great brother. Jayden will be very well cared for I have a feeling!

Update: Jayden and Karston
I can't believe that my little Jayden is already 1 month old. It always amazes me how fast time flies once they are here. I have a hard time ever wanting to put this little guy down, because I know he won't be snugly forever so I have to soak it all up while I can. I was browsing through the pictures on Doug's phone and found some that I didn't have otherwise. This is their very first brother picture. It has been so fun seeing these two interact with each other. It was an instant connection between these two. Every morning Karston comes in our room and looks at his brother sleeping and goes "Ohhhh" or if someone brings a little gift over for Jayden karston says "ohhhh cute" or as of late "sweeet." I am so glad I have two boys together you can already tell they will be good buddies growing up! Karston gets very concerned if ever Jayden is sad. He always tells him "No sad baby" or "Its okay yaden." Love these boys!
I found Daddy and Jayden 1st photo also in the phone. So cute. Doug is so proud of his little men. After Jayden was born I was watching Doug's reaction. He could not stop the tears. He is such a great daddy, and would do anything for his family! I got so lucky!!!
Most of these pictures are of the kiddos sleeping mostly because that is really all Jayden does still, but they are cute so we have to share! This one was sweet. Karston covered Jayden up and laid down next to him little Jayden wiggled began wiggling and so Karston looked at him and then he scooted up close to Jayden. Jayden calmed down Karston again made sure Jayden was covered and then they both fell asleep. So tender!
Jayden sleeps with his arms up like he is a zombie coming to get ya! It is funny and of course we always miss both hands up, but we got one so we posted it anyway!
Karston LOVES to hold his brother, and Jayden loves to snuggle next to his big brother, and we love to watch the two. In fact they were snuggling the other day and Karston started to count Jayden's fingers. Jayden was only showing 4 of his five fingers the thumb was hidden and Karston about had a heart attack not being able to find the 5th finger. He kept saying "Ohhh nooo ohhh noo no 5." I showed him it was hidden under his hand and all was right in the world again!
This and the next picture is a common scene in the Purcell home. Sleeping is what these boys do best. I love watching them snuggle especially up to dad. Trying to take them off of the sleeping dad well that is a different story we won't go into details, but we will just say these kids are very well protected when they are snuggled by dad. Mom has had some pretty good bruises from trying to pry these cute little things from the daddy bear! Makes me laugh every time!
This is a good position if and when you ever have to move the kiddos! Just sayin!!!
Jayden is such a sweet little baby. He LOVES to snuggle, and feels sad when he is left out of snuggle time. He has the saddest little whimper if his feelings get a little hurt. He HATES to be naked, but LOVES his bath time. He is getting chunkier and chunkier and I love it. He loves to smile and let me tell you his smile melts your heart every time. He loves kisses and pickers his lips when he wanting some kisses (or maybe that is just mom's interpretation). He is starting to focus on things better and loves looking at pictures of Jesus. Smiles every time! You can tell he has many angels watching over him he gets really excited at times, and just doesn't stop smiling. It makes me feel good to know that they are. I only wish I could see who he sees! I can't imagine my life without this little love. He is such a bright spot in my life as well as his daddy's and brother! We love you Jayder Bug!!!

Busy Busy As A Bee!
Besides being a GREAT big brother to Jayden, Karston has been a very busy busy little bee lately. His head has grown a little so some of his clothes tend to get stuck when he is getting dressed, but no worries this smart little one has figured out a great trick on getting all his shirts over his head. This was just a mishap, but such a cute mishap!!!
He loves getting dressed up in his church duds, Jami's are perfect to hold on a clip on tie!
This is Karston's new buddy Luke. He is Grammie and Grampie's next door neighbors grandson. He is so cute and will be getting a new baby at his house soon! We are soo excited for them! Anyway... they like to go for rides in their bike trailor, and especially in the wagon. Of course Karston thinks he is super SUPER big now and so he has to pull the wagon while Luke goes for a ride!
Every Saturday Karston has been going to work with daddy and Grandpa Purcell. He LOVES it. I think if he could he would go to work everyday with his dad, but for some reason Doug won't take him. Rude huh!!! :) I would take this cute little kid if it were me Wouldn't you?

So lately He has been doing this thing where he goes to the bathroom fully clothed, lifts up the lid to the toilet, bunches up his pants, acts like he is going to go potty, shakes his pants, says "all done" walks around to the side flushes the toilet of clean water, puts down the lid, and then wants to wash his hands. We have been trying to get him to do the one step he is missing which involves the removal of some items, but after his little wee wee got pinched his response to that is "NOOOOOO." So I guess for now he is just getting some practice in! At least he is showing interest right?
He LOVES having grampie take him for rides in grampie's wheelbarrow. I don't know how much grampie enjoys it, but Karston sure loves it. He gets this look like I am king or something on his face and rides it around the yard while grampie pushes it! So sweet and such a cute picture if I do say so myself!
Before Mr. Jayden man came along we went to the zoo with daddy. This was our last little jaunt before our family of 3 became a family of 4! It was fun there were babies EVERYWHERE! Karston wasn't too impressed I don't think, or maybe it was just because it was in the middle of nap and lunch time. Who knows. He looked at the animals, said hmm, and off he went to find another one. Maybe when we go to Hoogle Zoo in July he will be a little more into it then here. Maybe! Cute picture of my two boys though. I have such handsome men in my life... don't you think?

I have said it once and I will say it again. I am so lucky to have this sweet little man in my life. I have no idea or recollection of what I did before he came into the picture, but I know that I was meant to be a mom, and I couldn't be more thankful that I am his! Love you little man! Keep on with all your new discoveries... I love seeing the world through your little eyes. It is funny to me how many things we skip that really are no big deal, but to a little one who has never seen those things before the things we skip seem like gold to them! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Nesquik and RAIN!!!

SOOO I try my hardest to write down all the sweet and tender moments I have with my kids, because we all know how quickly they grow and how quickly we get older, and how quickly we forget of all the sweet moments we have with our little people. Even if it means writing it down before a normal hour of the day. Well I have had 2 special times lately one with each baby so to start out I will tell of this morning...
It is 5:30 am today and Karston started to cry so my good Hubby went and got the poor little tyke out of bed and brought him into ours. I just had finished feeding Jayden and just got situated all laid down again when I feel on my shoulder tap, tap, tap. I look over and starring over me is the SWEETEST little face with the CHEESIEST among CHEESIEST grin starring at me. That little face was Karston of course and with the cutest voice and while still doing the Cheesiest among Cheesiest grins he said "Kawa BAAAAHNEY." Well Baaahney at our house is Nesquik Chocolate or Strawberry milk. I wish I could have video taped this moment because how he looked and how he said it was sooo dang sweet! I love my Karston baby!!!
MOMENT #2
Recently we had a HUGE rain storm involving thunder and lightning and lots of rain! I LOVE thunder storms (Now that I am older) Well Karston I thought was somewhere else at the time so I decided to open up the living room and let some cool air in, but also decided to let Mr. Jayden have some much needed tummy time. So I laid Jayden down in the living room on his little play mat and I left to go to the bathroom. Well I wasn't gone more then a minute, I came out to check on my Little Love only to find my little love, and toy MIA... Yes the little thing was missing in action. After taking a minute thinking to myself I know that I left him right there a minute ago, but not remembering that I had just recently opened the front door to let the cool air in I began looking around thinking that maybe Doug had come in and had Jayden and I just didn't hear him. NOPE not the case. I began to search around when I hear again this sweet little voice coming from the front porch (behind the now CLOSED door duh) saying "OOK YADEN AIN" which translates into "Look Jayden Rain" yes my little Karston decided to take Jayden out on the front porch by dragging him with the toy to go out and look at the rain. I wish so much that my camera worked so that I could have captured this cute little moment, and of course I NEVER think to go get my cell phone until after the fact. Karston had piled up I don't know how many blankets on Jayden and had some toys to entertain him I guess and Karston was laying next to him on the little jungle mat with his little arms behind his head watching the rain with his baby brother!
I don't know what I did to deserve my two sweet boys, but I am SOOOOO Happy that they chose to come to me. My life would be empty without them!!!!

My Little Love...My Jayden Bug!
Wahooo! Jayden's pictures arrived today! If you know me you know how very much I LOVE pictures. I keep telling Doug I should go into photography because I love seeing pictures, taking pictures pretty much anything with pictures so much. We decided that would probably be a bad idea, because we would be broke for sure especially with my two little models! So here are some of my favorites of my little love. Yes I know they are all pretty much naked pictures, but when your this tiny everything is super cute! Don't worry his next little photo shoot will be including clothes. Just don't want to forget how tiny he was. He is my little snuggle bug and I think he will be a mommas boy. He is so sweet and has the most tender little spirit. I am such a lucky lady to have him as my son! I love you Jayder bug!!!

Karston's Dance Video!
WAHOOOO I have figured out how to upload this finally! Here is Karston doing his AWESOME chip munk dance. Sorry about the bouncing camera I tried not to laugh, but couldn't resist. Mr. Jayden got the jiggle to. He did such a great job. I love how when people start shouting and clapping he thinks its all about him and moves in front of the other girl with a big cheesy grin! Love my baby boy!!!!
