Big Boy Carseat and 4th of July!

Okay so I used to get up every morning feeling young and active and yadda yadda yadda. Now that I have a kid and I see how very fast he is changing and growing I feel VERY VERY VERY old. Karston has graduated to a big boy car seat. Man you would have thought we gave him 12 scoops of ice cream and a million bucks when you saw the look on his face. He would look out one window and look back at us then he would look out the other window and look back at us all the while having a CHEESY grin on his cute little face! He loves it! I think he was shocked to know that there was more to look at then the backseat of the car! It was soo super funny!


We had a great 4th of July weekend. Doug had to work due to set backs from the rain so Karston and I went up and spent one night at Hicee (don't know how to spell that oops) then we came home in time to go to the Fireworks with Doug at the Greenbelt. The fire works I do have to say were AMAZING as always but I am sorry to say it, but I just can't hold it in any longer. I HATED THE COMMENTARY from KLCE. Maybe it is just because I am old fashioned and used to Wayne Richards voice and the nice music he chose. I don't know, but I wish that they would use some of his work and do it. Just my opinion it was just hard to enjoy with the music that was chosen. Anywho here are my cute little men whom I LOVE soooooo very dearly! Aren't they just so handsome!

MY BABE IS WALKING! :(

Okay well my baby is walking. Granted he was walking a little bit before I left for girls camp, but then he got a NASTY double ear infection which made him walk like a drunk man so I think he figured it was probably safer for him to stay closer to the ground and crawl, but NOW he is EVERYWHERE! I just love it when babies start to begin walking the waddle is sooo stinkin cute!
He loves LOVES LOVES telephones. You hold one out to him and you have a new best friend!

MY CARS!

Well I was called to be assistant camp director and so Lisa put me in charge of all the creative stuff! Sooo this is what I came up with for the skit! Doug put a FABULOUS mix together of Beach Boy songs and my girls did a lip sink and dance and these cars were the props! We had a GTO, Chevelle, and Lamborghini! I was really very proud of my work! Girl's camp was fun I wasn't there the entire time due to a funeral in the family, but the days that I was there were lots of fun! Ohhh how I LOVE GIRL'S CAMP!!!

NEVER TOO OLD FOR TINKER TOYS!!!

So as you know Karston gave his daddy Tinker Toys for father's day! Well I walked in on this little site the other night. Hehehe it was sooo funny watching a 26-year-old playing with his tinker toys! I guess you never do lose your inner child huh!

So in case you didn't know my cute little Aunt Jewelle moved up here to Shelley! She has to be the most cutest, most funniest, and most loving ladies that I know! She will make you laugh so hard you hope that there is a bathroom near by! I love her so much and I am so glad that I now have the chance of seeing her more often! She used to live in Salt Lake City, that was just too far away!

Big Elk Creek!

Grammie and Grampie invited us to go with them for their ward family campout! They go up to Big Elk Creek. It is sooo incredibly beautiful up there. We were right by the creek and just surrounded by trees! It was just a fast overnight trip, but we had lots of fun playing games, sleeping, reading and just enjoying being outside in the warm weather! Thanks for letting us come it was GREAT FUN!!!!

Grampie and I were playing a very exciting game of flip over the card! Best game EVER! You should try it some time. I think it is my new favorite!

Well Karston learned an important lesson while on this camping trip! He learned that if he is inside and other people are outside he should maybe not play by the door where no one can see him! He took a 2 stair fall on the stairs. Got a goose egg on his noggen and a burn on his cheek. Soooo sad :(


This trip is AWESOME I am only 1 and am already learning how to drive SWEET!

FATHER'S DAY!

This Father's day was lots of fun! Doug was spoiled rotten which he rightfully deserves. Karston and I cleaned out his truck... if you have never seen his truck just take our word for it THAT is no easy task! Karston also gave him a card that has a recording of him laughing and a beautiful piece of artwork done by none only than the Great Karston! Karston also gave him tinker toys, and badminton. He is such a great daddy and deserves the very best! We love you lots!

Grampie's birth day!

We had a wonderful time for Grampie's birthday this year! We went over after church and had a yummy BBQ consisting of Dad's yummy hamburgers, deviled eggs, watermelon, chips and dip and water. We opened presents, ate A LOT, played baseball, and just had lots and lots of fun! Grampie said it was the best birthday he has had in a VERY long time! It was great fun for us to grampie! We love you lots, thanks for all you do for us!

Princess Tea Party

All the Princesses that came! Aren't they so cute!

The princesses ate very well. They had Cheetos, Butterfly PB&J sandwiches, cherry's, Strawberry soup (for the drink) and rainbow cupcakes!

What cute girls! Yah that's right and they are all MINE!

Then we played Put Cinderella in her window! (Another version of pin the tail on the donkey!)They were soooo funny! They helped each other out a lot! It was pretty cute!

All in all it was really pretty fun! I loved listening to their little conversations while I was getting their lunch ready. They sure did play the role of "PRINCESS" very well.
