Daddy went to work without me!

It is a very well known fact that Jayden LOVES to go to work with daddy. Well one day Dad left him and left me to deal with this fun little temper tantrum. Yup that was a fun hour!!! Thanks daddy!!! The thing is that he even ran to grab his hat and sunglasses. No pants or shoes but who needs those.

Stoddard Creek and Post Register Pic!!!

So as always my pictures are all out of order. One day I might be a little organized but its not today!!! So here are some more cute pictures I found from our little camping adventure at Stoddard Creek 2013! I love how absolutly green and beautiful it is up there.

I just love this picture of Karston and Jayden so much. It catches their personalities perfectly!
Look how tall that grass is. Poor Jayden is being taken over by it! HAHAHA

 Nature walk photo!
This cute little number is what made it into the Newspaper. He was just SOOOO proud of this fish. I am so glad I was there to capture this great memory for my boy. Look at him just look at that special little face. I just want to jump in this picture and squeeze him and tell him how proud I am of him all over again!
Anyways it really was a fun trip. We love being outdoors especially camping. Best place to feel of our Heavenly Fathers love for us. What a blessing this beautiful world is!!!

Ohhhh Karston!

This is what happens when Karston dresses himself for church. I love this kid and his little personality so much. He makes me laugh ALL the time, and I love it. My favorite accessory in his outfit has to be the latex gloves for shoes! I'm just glad I laid out his suit for him! Who knows what it would have turned out to be. Part of me kind of wishes I knew! Classy for sure!

Here is another little number my cute boy picked out for himself. This was what he wore in place of pants. I guess he figured if he had thigh high socks on they replace pants.

Stoddard Creek/Paul Reservoir

Man I don't think I will ever get caught up on all our adventures of  the summer of 2013! We went up to Stoddard Creek and then took the kids camping at Paul's Reservoir. It was such a beautiful trip. I love living in Idaho Falls for this very reason. You can drive 40 min or sometimes less and end up in a beautiful camping area. Anyways I took the kids on a little nature walk and we found some really beautiful flowers. Karston decided we had better take then back to Grammie to thank her for letting us tag along.

When we went fishing Jayden decided he wanted to try his shot at going potty outside. It was the funniest thing ever. He wanted to be successful SOOOOO Bad. He kept saying "Come on Come on Come on tail you can do it." Hillarious. I love this baby so much! He was not successful but he never gave up! We had to basically drag this boy out of there.
The kids had fun looking for seashells. They didn't find any so then they turned their interest over to rocks. Which they found lots of and had a very fun time making ripples in the water.

Then eventually they decided to give fishing a shot. Soooo we waited.........
                                                                          and waited.......
                                                                           And WAITED....
                                                              THEN IT HAPPENED.......
Karston caught a fish! He was so very proud of himself, and I was so proud of him. He wasn't ever scared of it!

We got a picture and sent it into the Post Register. Which made it into the newspaper. I don't have the photo here but he was giving us a thumbs up while holding his fish. It was super cute! Proud of this little fisherman!
Jayden just had fun being Jayden. He just walked around, snuggled with grammie, and occasionally held the fishing pole. Never caught anything but moss and he was elated with getting that! Love these boys of mine and the fun memories we get to make!

The HATS!

My good hubby is really pretty good at remembering us back home whenever he goes out of town. Last year he went to Portland for a conference and when he returned we all got a little present from him. I got an awesome sweatshirt because he knows I love those, and the kids got these cute little baseball hats. It was a very happy moment indeed, not so much because of our new treasures, but because we got our BIGGEST treasure back home. We miss our dad when he is gone.

BIG Froggy, Boys, and PAINT!!!

So as we know Mr. Jayden LOVES frogs. So last year my mom and I went Garage Saleing and ended up finding this frog for the boy. He was soooo excited about it. He wanted to take it everywhere with him and of course it needed its own carseat. Hahaha!
Every once in a while Doug has to leave town. The boys found this hat so that we could basically brand him as taken! Anyways it never fails someone always comments on it. This is before he left somewhere but I don't remember. Its a cute picture anyways!
So Karston decided to do a little bit of some art work for me on my bare walls. I LOVED it. Mostly I loved it because he used washable paint thank heavens! Anyways I love it when they get to learn knew things, and that day he learned maybe its not such a good idea to paint on mommies walls without mommy saying its okay.

Time to cut Baby Jay's Hair!!!

I love these before and after pictures of Mr. Jayder Bug! His hair only grows on top. The sides pretty much stay short but the top grows an awesome bush! So without further ado here is my bushy little baby bush before his hair cut. So cute huh!
Here is the after... Isn't he so incredibly HANDSOME! I think so yes!!! Getting his hair cut is probably one thing he actually looks forward to. He would get his haircut everyday if he could. Cutest 2 year old EVER!

Cute Little Randoms!

I had a paper sitting out on the counter probably the classified section I am sure and I came down to see this little man. Reading the paper and eating a bowl of cereal! Hahaha so cute I love him and how he watches what everyone else does and repeats it.
This is MR. COOL up top. The picture below however, is what you get when you take MR. COOL to the carwash while he is sound asleep and wakes up in the middle. NOT GOOD! He does not appreciate that one bit!!!
My handsome little men just relaxing and getting ready for bed time. Nothing better than reading stories with daddy. He does all the voices! :)
Found this bow from somewhere I don't even know who's bow it is but anyways.... stuck it in Karston's hair doesn't he look so sweet! Hahaha NO GET THAT OUT OF YOUR HAIR! Boys don't wear bows!

Love my family. Love my life! Wouldn't change one thing about it...NOT ONE!!! I am blessed!

A little blob of my thoughts lately.

So this Easter Sunday a very sad event took place. A little boy who belongs to a family that I know passed away due to a four wheeling accident. He was riding with a cousin who just happened to go a little too fast around a corner and unfortunately it flipped and even though CPR was performed rather quickly it was just not meant for him to make it. He was 5 years old.

When I hear of situations like this I often wonder how I would respond. I know the answer obviously would be that no one knows until they are placed in that situation. I hope, as most parents do that I NEVER EVER EVER have to be in that situation to find out. Anyways as I was pondering this tragedy I couldn't help but reflect on some words that I read in the book "Let it Go" by Chris Williams. Fantastic book by the way. Anyways, if you don't know what it is it is a book written by Chris who was involved in an incredibly tragic car accident in which most of his family was killed. The only ones to survive was his son who was at a friends house during this time, his other younger son, and himself. They were hit by a drunk teenage driver. After being hit when Chris looked around he says he had this knowledge as he looked at his pregnant wife and saw her take her last breath he knew that she was gone. Then he looked back at his daughter who's hair was draped over her face and again he knew that she too was gone. Last he looked at his other son and also knew that he was gone. He says as he sat there in those few minutes he had to process things he KNEW he needed to FORGIVE that individual who had done this to his family. He did so too.

Anyways, I recently had the opportunity of going to hear Chris Williams speak at a Time Out for Women event. He told his story and then he said this "I knew my wife and children were taken care of. I didn't need to worry about them anymore. They are well, safe, and okay." He said "Since I knew that they were okay I needed to worry about the one soul still here that needed me. The boy who hit us." I don't know why but I REALLY loved that and how much comfort there is in that line. His family was safe and unable to be harmed anymore.

As I think about this sweet family and know of the difficult road that they have ahead of them. I hope and pray that they will be able to find comfort in that. That once we leave here we are in a safe place free from pain and harm. Although I obviously know there will be sadness and grief and a great sense of loss. We are all on the Lord's time not ours. When we have done what he sent us here to do he will take us back home with him. I am positive that this beautiful little boy so full of life was sent here for a purpose which he fulfilled.

It is sad that sometimes it takes sad events to realize how many blessings we have. I know that I have snuggled my babies TONS more and tell them every second pretty much that I just LOVE them. I really do say it all the time just ask them. I never want them to forget it. I love my family with all of my heart. They are my world. I am INCREDIBLY grateful for the decision Doug and I made to keep ourselves worthy and able to enter into the Temple 8 years ago and be sealed for time and ALL ETERNITY. I want my family forever not just for the time on earth but FOREVER.

So in short I  guess I just want to say... Take time for your family. You never know when it will be the last time you get to hug them, kiss them, and tell them that you are proud of them and that you love them with all your heart. Everyone should always know that and never leave them wondering. Yes it could come across as annoying but honestly I don't care.  So Love to you all or at least to whoever takes the time to read this!

Jaydens SECOND girlfriend.

Many of you probably already know, but my baby boy has had a girlfriend since he was 8 Months old. Her name is not MOM.... I know how dare he right?! It is the one and only Presley Jean. These two are the sweetest little couple EVER. If they do happen to get married one day I will be so excited. She is a dolly and well Jayden is pretty much a baby doll himself therefore, that would mean I would have the most adorable little grandbabies EVER! Ok I might be getting ahead of myself there. But seriously they are so sweet with each other. They make sure each other are okay ALL the time. They hold hands wherever they go. Jayden is always getting things for her. They bicker like a little married couple. My most favorite thing they do is whenever one is leaving they make sure to give each other a hug and a cute little kiss. Anyways we love this little girl and we are so glad these two have each other.

Jaydens 2nd Birthday!

Well now that Jayden is 2 months shy of being 3 I thought it would be nice if I posted his Second Birthday pictures. I know I know your welcome! Man am I ever behind! This little mug shot baby is sooooo fun. He makes our world exciting. He is completely opposite of his brother which is good because well... He isn't Karston he is our Jayder bug! This first picture just cracks me up like no other. He got out of the tub and his hair went all old man crazy and well we hit that "I don't know how to smile" stage as well. Anyways his jammies say it all "Most Adorable" wouldn't you agree! Hahahaha
He apparently decided to tame down the curly old man hair and cover it up with his little beanie. He was stilling my hair products. Little thief. But just look how absolutely adorable he is!
So to start out his birthday we went on a special lunch date with his best friend in the whole wide world...HIS DADDY! Jayden's favorite thing to eat with dad is of course none other than Hamburgers and fries so it was no surprise when we asked him where he wanted to go the answer was "Hamburger and Fries." So McDonalds it was!!!

Cute little baby. The toys were so much fun!

Eating our Hamburger and Fries. Look at these boys of mine. I am the luckiest lady in the WORLD! Love all 3 of them soo much!

This was also after Karston's little fireplace incident which is why he looks a little rough around the edges. After lunch with dad I took my little bug to Toys R Us to let him pick out a present for himself. He picked out a frog to no surprise. I still have no idea why he loves frogs so much but he does.
That evening we had our family over for a little BBQ. The Cox side had a dance event going on so they came later in the evening and Mom was a slacker and forgot to take pictures. But Grandma and Grandpa Cox gave him a cute little circus train. He loves it still.  The Purcell side came and we had a blast. It is always fun having our family together and watch all the cousins mingle and create special memories with each other.

                                                             Jodi and Baby Paige!
                                                                  Ahhh sweet Loves.
Grandma and Grandpa Purcell and Uncle Brent with Baby Bryndyn.

He got all sorts of fun things from his cousins. Fun plates, cars, chairs, outside toys etc. It was great!

Happy Birthday Baby boy. At the age of two your favorites are: FROGS, the color GREEN, you love food, especially Meatloaf and potatoes, you like veggies but you especially LOVE APPLESAUCE. You would eat that all day long if I let you. This year you enjoyed your cake where as last  year you were scared of it. You are scared of Fuzz balls you think they are bugs. You talk in sentences. You do NOT like babies and keep telling me you are my baby and I can't have another one. You LOVE nursery and going to church especially when you get to wear your suit and missionary tag. Your favorite song is "I am a Child of God." you always want that one sung to you when your tired. That and Grandma Purcell's Rock A Bye song which you are always singing to your little frogs in your cute rocking chair. Your favorite shows are anything that has a frog in it like "Princess and the Frog." "Flushed Away." but your most current Favorite is "FROZEN!" You love to sing the song "Let it Go" and I have to say it is pretty darn adorable!  You love to go to work with daddy and in fact you wake up when his alarm goes off at 5:30 you sit up and say "I go get my work boots on its time to go to work." Most importantly you love ALL your grandmas and Grandpas and every day BEG to go to their houses. You specify them by Grandma Purcell is "Grandma White House" Grandma Cox's house is "Grandma Caucus" and Grandma Mullens is just "Grammie and Grampies house."

You light up our lives little man. We are incredibly blessed to have you in our family. You do have a tender little heart and I am so grateful to be your mom. You will always be my baby Jay no matter how big you think you are. Can't wait to see what your 3rd year brings. Which luckily isn't to far away.
