About a week ago or so the boys and I headed up with Grammie and Grampie to Kilgor for a little camping trip. It was SOOOOO fun. We went with some of their good friends Jack, Renda and their daughter Becca who by the way is DARLING! Doug and I are trying to find the perfect guy for her. She is 28 I believe, VERY outdoorsy, and loves the Jazz! If you have a match please notify ME!!!! Anyway on with our trip! Here are my cute babies just chillin on the bed before we get dressed and ready for the days great adventures, and when your out in the woods EVERYTHING is a great adventure to a 2 year old! After waking up and chillin Grampie and Karston have to eat their Cornflakes together outside! So cute!
HOW!!! I don't know what happened here, but somehow Jayder Bug got tangled in his blanket and this is the end result!
Karston every night was ABSOLUTELY filthy! So since we didn't have hookups and stuff we were sparing our water so he had to get a bath in the kitchen sink which he LOVED!
He wanted to go fishing, but we couldn't find the poles so Mom made him a fishing pole out of a stick! Cool huh! I was so happy though that I remembered how to do it. I used to make them all the time growing up. The best news of all though was that it actually worked. We caught 2 fish! One riped the line off the stick, and the other jumped around a few times before it got off. It is okay though they both were little Rookies! I was just happy it worked kind of Karston and I and Grampie had a fun time mostly just throwing rocks, and splashing water on each other!
Karston wanted some corn BAD! He however, would not wait until it was cooked. So here is the little sneak eating his cold corn! YUMMY!
Look at this tiny little tuna!! Don't you just want to squish him and smooch on those kissy cheeks! I do!!! YUMMY!
Grampie was sawing some wood and of course Karston has to try and do it too! So they both worked hard and accomplished some great little logs!!!
At the creek throwing rocks with my handsome baby boy! Love him!!!
Karston and Grampie throwing BIG rocks! Who knew this could be so much fun!
Karston always helping and looking for something to do. We gave him fire pit duty! No one likes cleaning the fire pit out!
More of this handsome little guy! He loves to camp. I am soo happy he does since I love to camp, and momma gets a little antsy sitting at home during the nice summer months!
Karston found this pretty little thing in Grammie's drawer. Doesn't he look cute ;}
Karston remembered that this part of the table was used to be a pretend piano. So Grammie, Karston AND Jayder bug all had to play the piano. It was a beautiful concert!
Karston kept running away. One time he was going down the road when it was a little dark. Since he wouldn't listen I turned into mean mom. See that tree behind him. Well the entire middle area is just full of trees so I followed him while hiding behind these trees. It was hard not to laugh, because as he was walking he was saying "I no listen, I do anyway." Stinker right... Right... So I kept following him and then at the right moment I jumped out and scared the poor child. He told me over and over again that night I was scary. He didn't go down the road though after that.
Does this little face not MELT every fiber of your human being. Oh how I love this tiny tike!
No matter how hard I try this little guy is my finger sucker. His favorite are the middle 3. GRR!
Just look at those BEAUTIFUL blue eyes!
Hehehehe! That's all I got to say about this one!
Setting up camp!
So the other part of our Summer has been spent at Rexburg Rapids! I LOVE water parks. I honestly could live their if possible! I love the lazy river, the kid area, excitement of the water slides! So fun! Karston and I went there lots and lots and just played and hung out. Great mommy Karston time! I kept forgetting to take my camera however. So I finally got some pics from our last day there.
This is Karston pooping in front of the office. At least he gets out of the pool to do his business!
OOOh that is a great post- I love that you hid and scared him - hehehe-- I no listen- hehehe! what a silly baby!! Wished I had gone to the water park- boo hoo- next year!!!
