Well I have finally caught up to 2014 now! Our first big adventure of 2014 was our get away to Island Park for a few days of snow fun adventure! It was great! We really needed to just escape life for a few days with all the hub bub going on in the family. What a great time we had as a family! We of course did a lot of snowmobiling which is always one of my favorite things to do.
My main man showing off his skill. Love him and love this picture just wished I would have had a little bit more of the sled in it but oh well.
The snow was a bit soft and fluffy which made sledding down the hills a bit difficult. So we got creative (not to creative) but we decided to pull the sleds behind the SLED. It didn't work that amazingly well either but it was still pretty fun. We had our moments when it was awesome and some where we just buried it.
Racket Ball! We had to go and play a few games and let me tell you... YOU DO NOT want any of us on your team. Well... You could probably benefit with Doug but he would be the only helpful one. Nonetheless we still had a great time and just really enjoyed being together!
GAME ON FACES!
Doug and Jayden being little mushroom heads. Jayden unless he leaned up by something would fall over. I am pretty confident that that helmet weighed A LOT more than him. I have some very cute boys!Daddy loved to take the boys for rides and the boys had a most enjoyable time too! They loved going FAST!
Jayden loved being out on his sled. We would go for lots of walks down to the store or just around the Condos. He liked to put his hand down and watch the snow move. So much fun!
Grammie decided to be brave too. She got all dolled up in Grampy's snowsuit and off she went with Doug for a snowmobiling adventure!
Sweet baby Jay got a little tuckered and went and climbed on the bed fully clothed this is how we found the poor baby. So funny yet so sweet! Love him so much!
Of course up in Island Park we had our "It's waaay to cold to go outside moments" So we like to play games and so that is what we did on those days or those moments.
It was on this trip that we discovered that Jayden has an EXTREME fear of bugs. He kept seeing these little fuzzies on the ground and would scream and holler and run and get some toilet paper for us to kill it. It was absolutely HILARIOUS. Yes, I did get video of this momentous occasion.
Having fun cooking in the cute little Kitchen. I have absolutely no Idea what I am brewing up here but it looks good none the less!
MommiElaine sent the kids a special project of making a valentines day card. They loved it. It had stickers and paper they did an amazing time with this little project.
Karston taking a Selfie! hahaha love him!
Baby Jay just looking cute and chilling! Love that baby face!
We even got grammie on the sled. That was so fun to watch she is such a trooper!
Doug left early and we stayed a few extra days. Before he left he made this on my van for me. Don't I have the sweetest guy ever! Love him!!1
It is our tradition to leave our tooshie marks behind so we did!
Ahhh kids and the bathroom. They must have some crazy vibe when people go to the potty. Their favorite game was to come play "Can you see this?" under the door while people where going potty. It was kind of funny!
My little men working hard so that we could get my van out since it isn't an off roading vehicle. they did a great job. I was so proud of them.
What a great time we had. Hopefully we will get to go on more adventures soon. It was sure fun!
