Part II: Grampy's Birthday continued Mill Creek!

I don't know how many  have heard of this place but we never had until now. Mill Creek. It is a free camp spot up to 16 days, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! First thing is First. We have to set up the trailer. I love that Karston thinks he is so big and can do all these things. He is very determined to help gramps and I love watching him set up the trailer!

After setting up camp it is of course time to eat some lunch. Love camp food. Things always taste better!
Then after we were done with the important things we headed out to explore. This place is breath takingly beautiful. We really enjoyed this spot.
Pelicans.... We couldn't believe it. We actually saw lots of Pelicans flying around. They were really interesting to watch.

After looking around it was time for the main event. FISHING! The boys had no idea what they were doing but they sure thought differently. They were so cute!

Jayden hasn't figured out yet that fish don't really live in shallow water but he was determined to catch a fish in this spot.

After a fun filled day at the lake. It was finally time for bed time stories and sleep. I believe the story of choice was "The Three Little Pigs."
Sweet baby sleeping. I really enjoy watching my babies when they are sound asleep. They are just so cute and innocent like. I wonder what is going on in their little minds while they are dreaming.
When we woke up we of course had to start the day off right with a photo shoot snuggling in bed.

Then immediately after that I am sure we had corn flakes for breakfast and then NO time to lose changing clothes we had to get the Bow and Arrow out. Jayden really loved this activity. Both boys got pretty good at it actually. I was impressed.

Shoot the arrow..... Find the arrow. That was the name of the game Folks!
Then Karston was ready to fish. I couldn't believe how bad I packed for this particular camp trip. I forgot so many things. One important item Karston's coat. Thankfully I don't have picky kids and will wear, eat pretty much anything I give them. So my coat it was. Drowned the poor boy but it worked!
Karston developed a great love for worms this trip. I couldn't believe it. He loved pulling them out letting them slither around and blah blah blah it was so Gross. Jayden and I wanted nothing to do with these yucky creatures!

Once Karston and Grampy returned we went for a walk around then came back and shot some more arrows.

Had another photo shoot this time with mom involved!
                                                                          And Grammy

I love these boys and the time I had to spend with them and make new fun memories. They are good little men and I am so grateful for the fact that I get to be their momma  FOREVER and EVER!

Part I: Grampy's birthday trip to West Yellowstone!

For Grampy's birthday he wanted to go take a little camping trip to West Yellowstone. It was fun. We got to see lots of fun things and enjoy being outside camping! The kids were excited yet a bit nervous to see this big guy walking along our van on our way into the park.
They were asking questions about West Yellowstone so grampy found this map and talked about the rules while we were in the park.

I love all the different colors. It really is amazingly beautiful what this earth creates. Good thing we knew the rules that teal water looks so inviting!
Karston was VERY protective of his little brother around these hot spots. Jayden is not wearing a skirt. Mom forgot his monkey on a chain backpack at home and apparently that is one thing West Yellowstones gift shops/stores carry. So he ended up wearing momma's sweatshirt as a leash. Worked really pretty well. Only annoying part was continually tying it tighter and tighter so we wouldn't lose this little man!

Showing off our home made leash. People thought we were pretty creative! Hahahaha!

Then one day we drove up to the Grand Canyon of West Yellowstone. I didn't even know this place existed. It was beautiful. Maybe I did and just forgot who knows. Either way I enjoyed it and so did the boys.

Relax Jayden. Mommy wouldn't make you sit somewhere that would cause you to fall. He didn't trust me! He held his breath and leaned forward on this rock till I got him down. Was the best statue EVER!

The last day of our adventure we went up to Old Faithful. The kids were pretty certain we were taking them to a Volcano and they were pretty nervous until they actually saw what it was.

Waiting.....and waiting.......and waiting for the BIG event! Its tough when your a little dude to wait that long.
So Grammy had a hankering for some Ice cream and or Yogurt. So we took a break from waiting and went and got some to enjoy!

Finally the BIG event! The kids thought it was SO AWESOME! they couldn't believe how high the water kept getting. It was fun seeing their little faces watch in amazement.
On the way back to the trailer we took a scenic route home. Finally we saw something besides Buffalo.
However that was short lived. The Buffalo made their big come back when we were trying to leave. Apparently they decided to have a sleep meeting and ended up blocking the road. We had two little boys who really had to go potty so that was not a very appreciated road block. Anyways here they come with their babies in tow and all! It was fun to see all of them together.
Jayden was so funny when we got back to the trailer he hopped up on the table and started pacing. I asked him what he was doing and he said "I just finking mom"  Alright son sounds good. I asked him what he was "Finking" about and of course the answer was "I don't know."

We had a great time at West Yellowstone. Karston even made some friends with other kids from California. They really enjoyed riding their bikes all over. :) Now off to part 2 of Grampy's birthday. We are heading to Mill Creek!
