Camping at Fall Creek!

We did an overnight camping trip up at Fall Creek. It is really pretty there and we had so much fun! I love camping!
Karston of course had to take his bike since it is his new thing. He did pretty good he figured out the brakes better that's for sure! Jayden had a grand old time following him around too!

For dinner we cooked some Hot Dogs! Nothing better than hot dogs cooked with a fire. It was so cute Karston kind of took over the roll of "Dad" he was always making sure that Jayden was okay kept trying to teach him how to cook his hot dog. It was SO fun to watch. Love these two boys!

Then the tradition of Corn Flakes for Breakfast came into play in the morning. My boys sure love to eat Corn Flakes with their Grammpy! Kind of funny.

Anyways it was a quick trip but a very very fun trip! So glad they let us come on these adventures with them!

Without Training Wheels!

I couldn't be prouder of this little man. In June he came in and told me he wanted his training wheels off. So I asked if he was sure and he said yes! So long story short the training wheels came off! He then went outside and I don't know how many times but he finally taught himself how to ride his bike with no help from mom or dad! One thing is for sure about Karston when he REALLY wants to accomplish something he is going to do it. No matter how long it takes. He stays persistent and keeps going until it is accomplished! He may have looked like a battered boy by the end but he was incredibly proud of himself and so am I! Good job buddy! I love you!

Idaho Falls Temple Treasure Hunt FHE!

So I didn't know about this but apparently the Idaho Falls Temple has a treasure hunt for kids. It was lots of fun and I highly recommend it. It helps the kids see the beauty outside of the temple plus it points out things on the temple that I don't think they would ever notice. So anyways we had so much fun doing this for our family night with the Richardson's. We sure love being all together!

 Goofy Babies!

Jayden really wanted to wear his jammies and I wasn't in a fighting mood. I figured just as long as he had clothes on we were good right?! He did decide to go on an adventure of his own and run away from mommy for awhile. Needless to say someone got in a bit of trouble after making mommy run all around the outside of the temple trying to catch him. Grrrr! Oh well he had fun until he got caught so I guess that counts for something!

After finding all the treasures of the temple we were in much need of a drink.

For our treat we went to Baskin Robbins 21 flavors of ice cream. The boys all got Spider-man and I of course got my favorite Daiquiri Ice YUMMY!

Karston graduated PRESCHOOL!

May 30, 2014 this handsome little guy graduated Preschool. I just couldn't be more proud of him. He did so well this year and he is 100% ready for Kindergarten. Miss Janet did a very nice graduation party. There was a video slide show, yummy cookies, and they showed us some very cute songs that they learned with Miss Janet! Karston absolutely adores this lady and I am so grateful he had such a good and safe first experience with school. I am not going to lie I am so very nervous to send him to a public school but I know that Heavenly Father has great things in store for this boy of mine so I am trusting in him to keep my baby safe every day that he is away from me.

Porter REALLY wanted a picture with Miss Janet too. She was so sweet and so willing to take a picture with him too. Hahahaha
Karston met up with his current little girl friend Kynzee (Miss Janets granddaughter) and they played for a bit. Karston is sure going to miss this girl. She is pretty darn adorable if you ask me!

One last hug goodbye for the two of them. I just want to squeeze these little faces they are so cute!
After the graduation we went to Grammy and Grampy's house and we got some ICEE'S SOOO GOOD!

My friend Mark took these cute pictures of my baby boy before he graduated. I just can't believe how big he is now and how fast these 5 years have flown by. He just lights up a room with his sparkle and he most definitely lights up my life on a daily basis. Love him so incredibly much!

Congratulations baby boy. I am so proud of you and all the things you learned, and accomplished this past year. I sure hope your little sparkle stays and that your sweet smile will greet many many people. You are the best and I love you with all my heart. Good luck in Kindergarten your going to do ABSOLUTELY GREAT!

Lagoon Trip!

So before school got out I took Karston and Porter to Lagoon for a fun day! Actually, we were going so that we could do a video for Randy Smith and Mark Marlowe Pediatric Dentistry for a contest that they are doing called "Where's Allie" purpose is to take Allie the Alligator wherever you go during the summer and post the pics on their facebook page. Whoever gets the most likes will win a full expense paid family trip to Lagoon. Pretty Awesome right? Anyways So I took these two to be in the video for me. They did a fantastic job. I will post the video when I do the video segment at some point! Anyways so here is our adventure minus a lot of it because well it was video and not photos! The first ride had to be little rides didn't want to scare them too soon! So we started with BUMPER CARS!!!!!

My poor kids with their sensitive little ears.
These two crashed a lot. It always took them a minute to figure out how to get out of their altercations!
But they had lots of fun. Just look at that sweet smile!

Then we all got cold so since we forgot jackets we headed out to find some sweatshirts. Porter was the only smart one and had a jacket on. Anyways, we found this cool talking tree so we watched and listened to him for a bit. The kids thought it was a pretty amazing "REAL LIVE TREE!" I'm pretty sure they want one at our houses. HAHAHAHA!
Then is was time for the Carousel . Tawnya choose the frog, karston a horse, and Porters day was made when he got to ride on the ROOSTER!

Any toy if guns are involved must be Awesome for little boys right?! I don't know how long they begged to go on this next ride. They were pretty excited when they both got to ride in the SAME one and each have a gun! It's all about the simple things.

Then it was Teapot Time! I really liked the chandelier on this ride. How awesome would this be at my house somewhere maybe in my future gazebo/porch or something. Ya awesome!

We rode a few more rides then decided it was time to go get some much needed lunch so Pioneer Village HERE WE COME!
We of course had to get a picture with the giant tooth at the old dentist office. Let me just say how grateful I am for modern technology. I would probably have refused any dental work being done back in the day. It just looks outright PAINFUL!
After lunch we had time for a few more rides. One of the last rides we did was the train ride around the zoo. I just have to say that that made me very sad. Those poor little animals having to sit in little cages in the heat with no vegitation around them on hot cement pads is just not right. I am not a big animal lover but that should not be allowed.

Our very last ride was the Gondola ride. The boys loved it and thought it was pretty awesome being up so TALL!

On the way out to finish off our adventure we HAD to have some of my favorite DIPPIN DOTS! I LOVE THESE THINGS!
As you can see our adventure was a success. Before we hit the highway the boys were completely zonked out! They were so well behaved and had so much fun I couldn't have asked for a better day. Tawnya on the other hand was a little bit more rough to handle but for the most part she did a pretty good job!
Love my life and I love my family! So glad for the memories made that day!
