Time to play Catch Up!

We have been soooo busy I don't even remember what I have posted and what I haven't so IF I have already posted these I am sorry but better to be safe than sorry since I print these blogs out into books for my family! Anyways I went out to Haroldsens Farm and picked me a BUNCH of  Raspberries for some of my most favorite don't want to use anything else Raspberry Jam! Ever since I was a little girl we would go to my Grandma Cox's where she would have her YUMMY homemade bread, butter, and of course Raspberry Jam! So I want to keep that tradition alive. I can't find the picture and I am very bummed about it, BUT my sweet Sister-in-law Jodi came over and helped me make some bread. I couldn't believe it it actually turned out and it was SOOOO good. I have tried for 6 years almost to make dough rise in this house and we (Doug too) have never been successful until now. It is such an easy recipe and I can't even BEGIN to tell you how incredibly yummy it is! So thank you Jodi!
How cute is my little helper! Please ignore the dishes in the sink. Apparently something exploded all over the Microwave food cover!

JAYDEN!!!! I didn't think I would be posting this post for a few years but it finally happened my little bald baby got his first haircut at 16 months!!! I could not BELIEVE how good he did. He just sat there and let Kylee do her thing. We love Kylee at our house she does such an amazing job plus she comes to my house even better!
Look at this handsome boy! Love him!!!

All done. Can you tell a difference? Not really cause it was like only 5 hairs got cut!
KARSTON: I decided Karston needed to have some fun and run some energy off. Well some days it worked great some days not so much. He was SOOOO funny to watch. He would get there and do really well for the first little bit then slowly his energy would dwindle down and we would see him laying on the turf rolling around or sitting in the net or making a chain with some of his little soccer buddies who also didn't care about playing a soccer game. Everyone probably LOVED it when they saw that they were playing our team because, Well our team never really had the attention span to play a full game. One by one they slowly left the field to go sit with their mom and dad. It was great fun!
If nothing else came out of it he was pretty darn cute out there!
So there are just a few updates of what has been going on in Purcellville. As always there will be more to come so stay tuned!

  1. Cute pictures! Glad the bread turned out. Baking bread is one of my favorite smells in the world, now your house can smell like it too!
