If you can't tell what that says it says Historic Nauvoo Visitor's Center. It was pretty neat!
First Vision.
The font. This font is also the largest font, because they were trying to get everyone's work done before they left so they were doing them like 2 or 3 people at a time
Beautiful Nauvoo Temple! The inside is indescribable. I don't know how they did what they did back then. They had some very good craftsman is all I can say!
We went on 2 horse and wagon tours the first was around the town and the second was up in the hills where Joseph Smith would go to seek answers or inspiration. Karston wanted to take over the horses.
Karston REALLY liked these missionaries. He thought they were pretty fun!
While the missionaries weren't looking Karston would sneak some food to the horses. Naughty Baby!
Grammie LOVING this tour!!!
We stopped right here and sang I am a Child of God. It was fun, heartwarming and just over all pretty neat!
The colors were simply beautiful!
This was where Joseph's Smith's office was. It was also the place where the Relief Society was created.
The Relief Society President taking charge of the meeting.
We then went to the Smith family Cemetery. It was very nice. I didn't know that Joseph was moved 3 times before being put in his final resting place which is here.
Joseph Smith, Hyrum, and Emma Smith are all together here.
They made wagon wheels, horse shoes etc. They also make you a Prairie Diamond. Kind of a neat story look up Prairie Diamond on Google to read about it!
